NOLA Top 10 in USA for African Americans and Women in Tech

According to 2018 data (Emsi), the New Orleans Metro is #5 in the USA when it comes to the percentage of digital media jobs held by African Americans, and #7 when it comes percentage of digital media jobs held by women. The 50 largest MSAs by job numbers in the USA were analyzed.

This “inclusive innovation” is occurring in a tech job market that is one of the tops in the USA in overall growth (per SmartAsset), even before the 2,000+ jobs of DXC Technology are factored in.
