GNO, Inc. launched the Regional Economic Growth Index, abbreviated to the “REGI” in January 2020 as part of its 10-year strategic plan for regional economic development.

The REGI is an historical look and benchmark to evaluate future results of economic development for Greater New Orleans. With continued job announcements and our region’s commitment to creating accessible training and career pathways for residents, the goal result is for all metrics to improve year-over-year.
