MSY is now the 38th largest airport in the country, compared to 49th in 2008. Furthermore, MSY has surpassed pre-Katrina enplanements by 36%. MSY now hosts 16 airlines, and serves 56 nonstop destinations (8 international) with 156 average daily departures.
