GNO, Inc. Statement on Bourbon Street Attack

Greater New Orleans, Inc. has been in communication with city and state officials since early morning, and is monitoring the vehicular attack that occurred in the French Quarter.  We are heartbroken over the loss of innocent lives, and send deep condolences to the victims and their families.  We want to thank the extraordinary NOPD officers who stopped the subject, and wish for a swift recovery for the injured officers.  We have full confidence that the FBI, Louisiana State Police, New Orleans Police Department and other agencies will quickly restore safety, and be able to update us all on this tragedy.

We encourage anyone who has information, photos or videos that may be helpful to the investigation, to please share it with the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or fbi.gov.
