Cleco Updates – Hurricane Francine

- Cleco continues power restoration efforts to the remaining 3,050 customers who lost power due to Hurricane Francine.
- The company expects most customers will have power by end of day today, Sept. 13, and the remaining customers on Saturday, Sept. 14.
- Thursday, Sept 12. was the first day of Hurricane Francine power restoration efforts, and Cleco restored power to all but 5,000 customers.
- The storm made landfall on Louisiana’s coast Wednesday night as a Category 2 Hurricane leaving approximately 37,000 customers without power.
- In addition to Cleco resources, the company has over 1,700 contractors working to clear debris, make system and equipment repairs, and restore power.
- We are incredibly proud of our crews who are still hard at work to safely restore power to our remaining customers, and we are thankful for our customers who have supported our team throughout the restoration.
