Intellectual Investment

Public Policy Committee
The Policy Committee leads GNO, Inc. in efforts to collaborate with business leaders from across the region to serve as a unified voice in both Baton Rouge and Washington D.C. by advocating for legislative polices that lower costs, encourage investment, and reduce risk.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is a standing committee of the Board of Directors and is primarily responsible for reviewing and providing guidance on the financial matters of the organization.

NextGen Council
The NextGen Council (NGC) is an initiative of GNO, Inc. designed to introduce new leadership into the organization, with the intent of benefiting from the vigor and ideas of emerging regional leaders; and developing future economic leaders of the organization and region.

Southeast Super-Region Committee
The Southeast Super-Region Committee (SRC) is a partnership of GNO, Inc. and the Baton Rouge Area Chamber to foster cooperation for mutual economic benefit between the two regions.

Airport Committee
A collaboration of business members, and airport & Aviation Board officials to continue an aggressive effort to increase flight connectivity to three key locations: USA, Central and South America, and Europe.

BioSciences Task Force
Industry experts and business leaders who are evaluating the most advantageous BioScience and Technology subsectors for development of the BioScience Corridor.

Avondale Task Force
Working with state and local stakeholders, this group minimizes the impact of Northrop Grumman’s (now Huntington Ingalls’) reduction in production, and maximizes opportunities for facility reuse.
