Emerge Summit will bring together hundreds of young professionals to engage and learn from each other’s experiences across a variety of topics comprising leadership, business strategy, and personal branding. It will feature an extraordinary line-up of speakers from New Orleans and across the U.S. to provide a series of educational & thought-provoking platforms that inspire creative and innovative ideas for personal & career development.
The event will take place July 26-27, 2018, and will usher in new and exciting Emerge Summit components including an additional summit day [2 days total], workshops & educational tracks relevant to specific industry sectors, and enhanced opportunities for networking and social engagement.

The Millennials Awards celebrates and recognizes young professionals of all ages who contribute to their communities in significant ways. Notable past recipients of the Millennial Award include Kristi Coleman, Trombone Shorty, Bivian “Sonny” Lee, Chef Michael Gulotta, Cherie Melancon, Kendall Francis, and Tara Letort, among others. This year’s winners will be chosen by a distinguished panel of judges comprised of notable young professionals and previous award winners.
This celebration will close out the Summit on its final evening where all attendees can celebrate together with local food, music, and other entertainment.

The Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) Workshop is a comprehensive leadership development program for rising stars of the CPA profession. Engineers Without Borders – New Orleans Professional Chapter (EWB)
EWB is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide and locally to improve quality of life. It is a branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers that focuses on solving civil engineering problems to underserved communities. The New Orleans chapter has a unique focus on both international and local development related to post-Katrina rebuilding.
