World Championship For Major League Gaming Held In New Orleans

This past weekend Major League Gaming, the global leader in e-Sports, held its World Championship in New Orleans.  The event was broadcast to over 120 countries, and featured players from around the world competing for $500,000 in prize money.  GNO, Inc. worked with partners at the NOCVB and Convention Center to bring the championship to the region, where it will help build New Orleans’ reputation as a burgeoning tech center.  E-Sports is a $600M industry that has seen aggressive growth, with an audience of over 130M people in the 18-34 age demographic.  You can read more about the event in US News & World Report here.
