NOLA Named a “Best Place to Go” in the World in 2018

Frommer’s has named New Orleans a best destination to go to in the world in 2018, as one of 18 “incredible places that will give you the trip of a lifetime.”

The travel guidebook writes that “NOLA turns 300 in 2018, and as you’d expect, it’s throwing a party.  Make that 160 parties, which is the number of festivals this jubilant city holds each year.”  Frommer’s also cites the Prospect 4 art festival, the new Crescent Park on the river, and the recent streetcar extensions connecting downtown to Bywater.
