NOLA #7 City In The World

New Orleans has been named the #7 City in the World by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine, as part of their 2016 “World’s Best Awards.”  Cities are ranked based on sights, landmarks, culture, food, friendliness, shopping and value.  According to Travel + Leisure, the Top 10 Cities in the World are:

1. Charleston, South Carolina
2. Chiang Mai, Thailand
3. San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
4. Florence, Italy
5. Luang Prabang, Laos
6. Kyoto, Japan
7. New Orleans, Louisiana
8. Barcelona, Spain
9. Savannah, Georgia
10. Cape Town, South Africa

New Orleans was also named #2 City in America, and The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery in New Orleans was ranked No. #7 Hotel in the Continental U.S.
