Wind of Change

GNO, Inc. will lead a business trip to Rhode Island from June 20-22, 2022. The focus of the visit will be the Block Island Wind Farm, America’s first offshore wind installation, which was largely constructed and serviced by Louisiana companies. Participants will see and understand the role and potential for Louisiana to be the supply chain for offshore wind in America, beginning in Block Island.

The summit will include a visit to Block Island Wind Farm via chartered vessel, visits to industry related innovation hubs, and in-depth discussions with Rhode Island offshore wind & renewable energy companies, economic developers, and elected officials, including the Secretary of Commerce for Rhode Island.
