MSY #3 Fastest Growing Airport of the Decade

Per FAA data for the last decade (2007 – 2017), Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is the 3rd Fastest Growing Airport in America (medium or large). Enplanements grew 60% over the past ten years, from 3.8M to 6.0M. Furthermore, enplanements at MSY are up 24% since 2004, indicating that the growth is not just post-Katrina rebound, but new growth, as well.

The new airport terminal is scheduled open in May 2019, which should further enhance the growth of MSY.
