Louisiana’s workers compensation insurance rate is based on the average weekly pay of the worker and their occupation. For example, someone who earns an average weekly wage of $696 is entitled to receive between $139 – $522 in workers compensation. (rates effective between Sept.1, 2007 – Aug 31, 2008)
